The Ark moves into the Temple and so does God: 1 Kings 8; Chronicles 5–6 (with verses sorted into chronological order – see note)

Finally, after seven years of work, Israel could move the Ark into the Temple. There were a lot of musicians, a lot of sacrifices, all the priests, and all the elders of Israel were there.

2 Chronicles 5:13-14 The trumpeters and singers performed together in unison to praise and give thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other instruments, they raised their voices and praised the Lord with these words:

‘He is good!
His faithful love endures forever!’

At that moment a thick cloud filled the Temple of the Lord. The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of God.

The verses in chronological order are: 1 Kings 8:1-11; 2 Chronicles 5; 1 Kings 8:12-21; 2 Chronicles 6:1-11; 1 Kings 8:22-53; 2 Chronicles 6:12-42
