Solomon’s proverbs: Proverbs 8−9

Solomon wrote 3000 proverbs and collected other wise sayings; some made it into the book of Proverbs. These are the last two chapters in the introductory section.

Wisdom is not a recent invention:

^8:22-23 The Lord created me at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of long ago.
Ages ago I was set up,
at the first, before the beginning of the earth.
