Solomon’s proverbs: Proverbs 16−18

Solomon wrote 3000 proverbs and collected other wise sayings; some made it into the book of Proverbs. These chapters are from the first collection of Solomon’s proverbs.

On the plans we have:

16:1-3The plans of the mind belong to mortals,
but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
All one’s ways may be pure in one’s own eyes,
but the Lord weighs the spirit.
Commit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.

16:25 Sometimes there is a way that seems to be right,
but in the end it is the way to death.
