More psalms: Psalm 105 and 106
Many of the psalms have no author attributed to them, so we have a large group of ‘unallocated’ psalms that have no identified author.
After recounting Israel’s lack of faith in so many situations, and the resulting sin, the writer of Psalm 106 showed an amazing confidence in God’s faithfulness to keep His promises to Israel. He didn’t ask God to remember him if God delivered Israel, but when:
Psalm 106:4-5
Remember me, O Lord,
when you show favor to your people;
help me when you deliver them;
that I may see the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation,
that I may glory in your heritage.
