The second two of three anonymous letters to an unnamed group of believers, and a letter from Jude: 2 John, 3 John, Jude

We’ve been commanded to love each other:

^{2 John 5-6} I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning. Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning.

So let’s just do it. It’s an old command. The command to love God and love our neighbour sums up the whole Law that was given by Moses thousands of years ago, but it’s still relevant today.
